Privacy policy

Summary: The King Rules doesn't need an account or sign-in, has no servers of its own and doesn't collect personal data that identifies you. The only things that leave your phone are handled by Google: the advertising ID (AdMob), purchases (Google Play) and usage statistics and crash reports without names (Firebase).

2. Data stored on your device

The players' names or nicknames.
Game settings: intensity, packs, rounds, alcohol-free mode…
The game in progress, so you can continue it.
The language you chose and whether you have the Royal Pass.

Everything is stored only in the app's storage and is never sent to any server of ours. If Android backup is on, the system may include this data in your Google backup.

3. Sharing the record

When you tap «Share the record», the image is created on your phone with the game's names. It only leaves your device if you send it, choosing where in Android's share menu.

4. Purchases

The Royal Pass (weekly subscription or one-time purchase) is paid through Google Play Billing. We never see or store payment details. The phone only remembers whether you have the pass; your Google Play account is the source of truth.

5. Advertising

The app shows Google AdMob ads: a banner in the menus, full-screen ads between rounds and, if you ask for it, a video to try a pack. Google may use the advertising ID, IP address and technical device data to show and measure ads and, if you agree, personalise them.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you're asked for consent the first time through Google's form, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy and ads. With the Royal Pass no ads are shown. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Statistics, crashes and other Google services

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the app is used (for example, which packs are played or how many rounds a game lasts) and to get a report when it closes because of an error. Technical device data (model, Android version, language), an installation ID and the approximate location inferred from the IP address are sent. Players' names and the text of the orders are never sent, and the advertising ID is not used. Google keeps this data for up to 14 months.

In-app reviews and updates are handled by Google Play; we receive no data from them.

7. Legal basis

Your consent, for personalised ads.
Performance of a contract, for purchases.
Legitimate interest, for non-personalised ads, usage statistics, crash reports and the app's basic operation.

8. International transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Since we store nothing on servers, you delete the app's data yourself (see «Your data»). Data processed by Google is managed from your Google account. If you think your rights haven't been respected, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, aepd.es).

10. Retention

Data is kept while the app is installed and deleted when you uninstall it or clear its data.

11. Minors

The King Rules is a game for adults 18+ and is not aimed at minors. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

12. Changes

If the app's features change (for example, if a new service is added), we'll update this policy and its effective date.
